Specializing in touch screen kiosk program development for the past 15 years, we’ve seen trends come and go.  Early on touch screen exhibit programs were very expensive and a monumental task to complete.

Touch screen kiosks can be used to educate visitors in many ways but beyond offering information on your exhibits or the subject matter in your displays, you can offer additional information that can be useful  for awareness and promotion.

In a recent conversation with a client regarding a dead touch screen display, we uncovered the fact that the person who built their kiosk designed it without a cooling fan and it appears that they burned out their expensive, 22 inch, touch screen LCD.

I get a lot of questions about offering web sites on kiosks.  More and more, our customers are becoming web savvy and utilizing the web for educational outreach.  We are strong believers in not duplicating efforts and for some web applications; their addition to a kiosk is a great idea.
